Grease Interceptor Information

The City of Jacksonville Beach has a robust Fats, Oils, and Grease Prevention program.  Ordinance No. 2019-8125 was adopted by the City Council on November 18, 2019 and is contained HERE.  Ordinance 2020-8156 updated this Ordinance and can be found HERE.

Septic System Phase-out Rebate Information

The City of Jacksonville Beach has created a septic system phase-out program to help resident owners eliminate the septic systems in Jacksonville Beach and get them connected to City sewer service.  This program will rebate actual costs up to $8,000 as required, upon completion of the connection and abandonment of the septic tank system.  

These costs include: 

  • $1,000 capital improvement fee required by the City.
  • $750 sewer tap-in fee required by the City.
  • Up to $6,500 contractor costs for septic retirement and connection to the City sewer.
