Programs in crime prevention are available in a wide variety of subject areas. Programs are presented by members of the Crime Prevention Unit upon request.
All of the programs are presented free of charge to the public, private groups and businesses. They are tailored to a specific audience.

Residential Security
Neighborhood Watch Program
This program is a citizen-based initiative that recreates the partnership between the community and law enforcement. It is a program of neighbors watching out for neighbors during times when criminal activity would most likely occur.
Home Security
This lecture presents crime prevention techniques that can reduce the opportunity for home burglaries. It includes information regarding locks, lighting, and security.
Security Inspections
Includes on-site inspections and internal and external security measures. Recommendations are offered based on the security inspection results.
Business Security
Business Watch Program
This program is a business owner-based initiative that recreates the partnership between the business community and law enforcement. It is a program of business owners watching out for other business owners during times when crimes can occur.

This presentation will give employers and employees an understanding of the many forms of violence in the workplace and how to identify and avoid potential problems.
Personal Safety
Sexual Assault Prevention
Traditional rape prevention techniques are updated with information stressing forethought and planning. Myths about rape and victimization are discussed.
Robbery Prevention
This program stresses street safety and techniques for reducing victimization.
Senior Citizens
A broad spectrum of crime prevention information including personal and property protection geared to the special needs of older people. The program raises awareness and helps to eliminate misplaced fear.
