Bids & Proposals

The City of Jacksonville Beach Purchasing Division is responsible for centralized procurement of goods, services, technical and maintenance services. Bids and proposals are advertised in the Florida Times-Union and the Financial Daily News in the legal section.

Opening of bids are normally held on Wednesdays at 2 pm at:
Operations and Maintenance Facility
1460-A Shetter Avenue, 2nd Floor
Jacksonville, FL 32250

Submissions

Submissions received after the specified due date and time are late and will not be considered. Modifications received after the specified due date and/or letters of withdrawal received after the due date or after contract award, whichever is applicable, are also late and will not be considered. Sealed bids/proposals must be received and time-stamped by the Purchasing and Procurement Division prior to the bid opening on the specified due date unless otherwise specified.

Only those changes made by the City in the form of a written addendum will be accepted. Modification made by the bidder may render the bid non-responsive and subject to rejection. The City shall reserve the right to reject any or all bids deemed to be in the best interest of the City.

Results

Bid/Proposal results are posted to the website once the Department makes their recommendation to the City Council. A written notice of intent to file a protest must be filed with the Purchasing Administrator within three business days after receipt by the bidder or proposer of the Bid or RFP Award Notice from the Purchasing Administrator in accordance with the procedures set forth in Section XII K., City of Jacksonville Beach Purchasing Manual.

For a complete set of specifications and the applicable RFP or bid documents, bidders may request information or call 904-247-6229.
